Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to anyone using our website, online tools, or patient portal. By using this site you agree to them. Clinical care is governed separately by the Care Agreement (see /indemnity) which you sign at your first visit.
What the tools are for
Our tools (due-date calculator, week-by-week guide, kick counter, birth-plan builder, hospital-bag list, my-journey diary) are free to use, save data on your own device, and are for your information and reassurance.
They are not medical advice. If you have a concern about your pregnancy, your baby, or your health, please WhatsApp us, phone us, or come in. We'd much rather hear from you.
Bookings via the contact form
Submitting the booking form on /contact is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We'll come back to you within one working day to confirm a time. For anything urgent, please WhatsApp 081 245 9441.
Your account (if you sign in)
We use one-time email links — no passwords to lose. Don't share your sign-in link with anyone; it gives access to your file. If you lose access to your email, WhatsApp us and we'll verify you another way.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
- Try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the site or our systems.
- Upload content you don't have the right to share (this matters for the diary tool — your own photos only).
Intellectual property
The clinic name, logo, content, and design are ours. The text and photos you create in the My Journey diary tool are yours — they live on your device, we never see them.
Limits of liability
The website and tools are provided as-is. We work hard to keep them accurate but we don't promise they'll be error-free or available without interruption. Clinical responsibility is governed by the Care Agreement, not these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be heard in the courts of South Africa.
