Pricing

Honest, upfront fees.

No surprises at the end. Here's what our birth package costs, what each visit looks like if you're paying as you go, and when payments are due.

Birth package

Delivery / Birth โ€” R22 000

Birthing fee only. Everything you need from the moment labour starts until your 3-day check-in.

  • Birthing centre facility fee
  • Midwife and doula support throughout labour
  • Medication and basic birth supplies
  • Post-natal care for 4โ€“6 hours after birth
  • Baby's birth immunisations before discharge
  • 3-day follow-up visit for mom and baby

Note: antenatal check-ups, blood work, the 32-week Gynae visit, and the six-week post-partum visit are not part of this package โ€” see the fees below.

Payment terms

How the birth package is paid.

R5 000 deposit at 20 weeks

Payable at 20 weeks of pregnancy โ€” or immediately if you're already past 20 weeks when you book. The deposit is non-refundable and secures your spot.

Balance by 38 weeks

The remaining R17 000 must be paid in full by your 38th week of gestation, so everything is settled before labour.

If the birth happens before payment is complete: we'll still care for you and baby, but the Proof of Birth and Road to Health Book will be held at the clinic until the balance is settled.

Visits & extras

Other fees, excluded from the birth package.

These are the visit and service fees you pay separately, billed per use.

First antenatal visit

For new patients without an existing file or maternity case booklet with us. Includes opening your file.

Follow-up antenatal visit

For existing patients with a file open. The standard check-up rate.

Antenatal blood work

Bloods sent to the lab on your behalf as part of routine antenatal screening.

32-week Gynae visit (compulsory)

A compulsory check at 32 weeks with a gynaecologist. The fee is set by the gynae, not by us.

Six-week post-partum visit

Mother's post-natal assessment plus baby's six-week immunisations.

Ambulance transfer

Good to know

A few things to check before you book.

Is the R5 000 deposit separate from the R22 000?

No โ€” it's part of the R22 000 total. The R5 000 is the booking deposit (due at 20 weeks); the remaining R17 000 is due by 38 weeks.

What does the birth package include?

Birthing fee only โ€” the centre facility, midwife and doula support during labour, medication and basic supplies, 4โ€“6 hours of post-natal care, baby's birth immunisations, and a 3-day follow-up visit.

Why are antenatal visits charged separately?

Every pregnancy is different, so we don't bundle a fixed number of check-ups into the birth package. You only pay for the visits you need.

What if I'm already a patient at another clinic?

You're welcome to transfer at any stage. The first visit fee (R1 500) covers opening a new file with us and reviewing your history.

What happens if I can't pay the balance before birth?

We'll still care for you and baby. The Proof of Birth and Road to Health Book stay at the clinic until the balance is settled, and the deposit remains non-refundable.

Do you accept medical aid?

Get in touch on WhatsApp or via the contact form โ€” we'll talk you through what your scheme covers and how to claim.
